Everyone is frustrated with Blogger's setup for guests to leave comments (messages).
There really aren't any easy options for changing the default comment setup in Blogger
without going to HTML.
So far I found this design help:
http://helplogger.blogspot.com/2012/03/how-to-change-blogger-post-comment.html
which refers to accessing an "Expand widgets" feature that no longer exists.
Another does the same but with details:
http://www.blogxpertise.com/2012/08/tip-making-comment-link-more-intuitive.html
However - Blogger has updated it's widget modification method and this text doesn't apply.
Then I found this:
http://blogging.nitecruzr.net/2013/04/the-option-to-expand-widget-templates.html
which was more useful.
OK - The search phrases are not working and wading through all that html is time-consuming.
Plus - I really know nothing about the subject.
So, finding the correct section to change and then using the right terminology to change
it is out of my current expertise range.
I guess I'm overdue to learn something new!
Later:
Well - I now found this forum article:
http://forums.cnet.com/7726-21563_102-5447741.html
which seems to have potential but it's a little scary.
My template is backed up but I'm not quite ready to try it until I've researched a little more.
Later:
Now I found this:

which clearly states that there is a bug and they are working on it.
When in doubt, blame a bug!
